August 16 1947 (2023) [Hindi DD5.1 +Tamil]  Punjabi Review :

Story takes place in span of three days in an fictional village of pre independence India where they fail to receive the news of India’s Independence . One liner was really good and had great potential , they did a decent job in utilizing this potential . Story building at first half was good following by emotional second half . Cast did a decent job in performance . Production design really need a good appreciation . Visually , cinematography was good .

Cons – Some of the long drawn sequence could’ve been easily trimmed off . They should’ve concentrated on some logical issues .

Overall , except for some logical issues and few flaws literally a good watch and worthable for your time . Give it a try .
